Work Conditioning
Employee-centered work conditioning program at an AIM clinic to facilitate a safe, timely, and successful return to work for injured employees.
Work Hardening
Employee-centered job coaching and work simulation programs at either an AIM clinic or at the worksite to facilitate a safe, timely, and successful return to work for injured employees.
Occupational Rehabilitation Assessment
This functional restoration assessment is administered to determine present physical tolerances and to determine if they are appropriate for an Occupational Rehabilitation Program. The assessment report would outline the treatment recommendations including duration and cost for approval by the referral source.
Occupational Rehabilitation (Tier 1)
A structured functionally based gym program used to increase the participant’s physical tolerance for return to work/functioning. Programs are individualized. They are typically 2-4 hours per day for 6 weeks. Injury date is typically between 30 to 90 days.
Occupational Rehabilitation (Tier 2)
A structured functionally based gym program used to increase the participant’s physical tolerance for return to work/functioning. This program has a strong educational component and a focus on psychosocial issues that may serve as a barrier for return to work. Programs are individualized, and include behavioral therapy through psychological counseling. They are typically 4 to 8 hours per day for approx. 8 weeks. Injury date is typically more than 90 days.
