Dr. Magliocco has spent over 17 years refining his skills in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Rehabilitation Sciences. He takes a special interest in modern approaches to Acupuncture, which he has been teaching to other health professionals for over 10 years as the Senior Instructor of McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course.
Dr. Magliocco specializes in treating athletes, and he has worked with many of Hamilton’s associations, teams, and individual athletes, including:
- 2012 Summer Olympics long-distance runners
- Hamilton Ticats CFL Team
- McMaster University Football Team
- Hamilton Round the Bay Road Race runners
- Ancaster Soccer Club
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University, and finished his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic with summa cum laude designation in 1995. Dr. Magliocco constantly strives to grow his knowledge. He is certified by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario and the Canadian Contemporary Acupuncture Association, and heholds certificates in Active Release Techniques, Cox Flexion/Distraction Techniques, and Physiological Therapeutics.
Dr. Magliocco is an active member of his community. He contributes to many charitable organizations, coaches an elite teenage girls soccer team, and gives seminars regularly. He lives in Ancaster with his wife and two children.
