Dr. Robin Valente graduated from a four year professional program and a one year internship from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1995. She also earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1990.
She has practised over 15 years in London Ontario, of which over 13 years have been with AIM Health Group. Dr. Valente is the clinical chiropractor as well as clinical director at the North London location. She treats sports injuries, paediatric and geriatric issues, work related injuries, motor vehicle accident patients and works with patients to achieve general wellness.
Dr. Robin Valente played varsity soccer at Queen’s University from 1987 to 1990. She has played soccer at competitive levels for many years and understands the importance of prevention of injury through improved function, conditioning and strengthening. She has an ongoing interest in treatment of sports injuries, as well as paediatric, pregnancy care and women’s health issues.
Clinical evaluation with Dr. Valente includes a thorough history followed by a neuromuscular and orthopaedic assessment. Treatment can include joint mobilizations, manipulation to the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, active release, modalities, stretch and strength exercises, and postural/ergonomic education.
