Dr. Ashley Carruthers has been practicing in the Ottawa area since 2009, recently joining the AIM Health Group Orleans location where she is currently accepting new patients. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, following receiving her BSc from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a former competitive figure skater for over 10 years, Dr. Carruthers understands the importance of injury prevention and safe return to activity for not only athletes, but for the public as a whole.

Her clinical evaluation begins with a thorough patient history, followed by a comprehensive physical exam including neuromuscular, functional, and orthopedic tests. Treatments may consist of joint mobilizations, chiropractic manipulations (spinal and/or extremity), soft tissue therapy, modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and stretching programs.
